What is the most important thing you can do for us as our GC? Get your repeat work! The smoother your client's projects go, greater is the chance you will be asked to represent them again. If a professional, high performance GC builds the project, your chances for success are much greater. The less time you spend making sure the GC does his job right, the more time you have to properly manage the other aspects of the project or evaluate future opportunities. We're known as a "no headaches" GC that needs no handholding.

Our responsibilities include getting the project in budget to match the owner's pro forma before beginning construction. Can you help? Absolutely. In this era of escalating costs, an innovative GC who does a significant amount of negotiated work and is constantly involved in the pre-construction process can play a key role in making this happen. Many projects have moved forward due to our ability to work with the architect, engineers, and subcontractors to enhance value.

Not all of my clients' projects are ground up. Are you well versed in other project types? RedmarQ Construction will build additions and renovate individual stores, entire centers, or homes. Given our experience in multi-family and office projects, we are perfectly suited for mixed-use projects as well.

Who will be managing our projects? Our personnel strive for a collaborative effort. They are thinkers and doers, not complainers and finger pointers. Projects can have challenges; not all design, engineering, or leasing documents are created 100% complete or error free. Our folks proactively assist in developing fair and cost effective solutions. Projects are as much about the people involved as they are the technical details. They understand that and are skilled in that regard.

Subcontractors make or break a GC. How would you characterize your relationship with your subs? Mutual respect. In the market we are in at this time, that respect allows us to generate superior coverage for our pricing, which in turn benefits the client.

How does REDMARQ "finish" a job? One word, 'strong'. We are often measured by the last 5% of the job. A timely and complete closeout of the job is crucial for all, in some cases affecting the reimbursement of dollars between owner and contractor ,landlord and tenant.
